25 Best Target Deal Days Sales 2022: The Best Deals We Found

There is no place as a target. While online shopping doesn’t instill the same frenzy as getting lost in Bullseye’s Playground, the Target Deal Days sale still offers an exciting excuse to browse the virtual aisles. (As if any of us ever needed another excuse to do a quick target run.)

The sale runs until July 13, and while it may be a direct competitor to Amazon Prime Day, the vast majority of these deals don’t require a subscription to purchase. Some of the offers are only available to Target Circle members, but joining the program is free — and membership is worth it if you shop at Target, even semi-regularly.

The WIRED Gear team tests products throughout the year and has manually sorted through hundreds of thousands of offers to make these choices. Products crossed out are out of stock or is no longer updated. Our Amazon Prime Day front page has the latest stories, and our Prime Day shopping tips will help you avoid bad deals. You can also get a One-year subscription to WIRED for $5 ($25 off) here.

Updated July 13, 2022: We’ve updated pricing and links throughout, and added a robot vacuum offer.

Deals on games and entertainment

Pixel Buds A-series.

You could be on a quick call, watching Will Byers cry about his crush, or listening to Selena sing Bidi Bidi Bom Bom – it doesn’t matter if you have the Google Pixel Buds Series A. These are our favorite headphones for most people with their ergonomic design, balanced sound and IPX4 water resistance.

dark haven is one of the most popular and expensive table games. Jaws of the Lion can be played as a standalone game or as an expansion of the original. It is suitable for two or more players aged 14 and over.

A plethora of Lego sets are on sale, ranging from classic $10 brick kits to Minecraft– thematic models. The Duplo and Friends inclusive ranges are also featured in this sale. The quality of the offer depends on the set you are considering, but the discounts are generally good, especially for parents looking to entertain their children this summer.

Target circle members only

This binder is a good option for future kindergartners, and the clip coupon brings it down to just $3 for Target Circle members. Choose free in-store pickup, where available, to avoid shipping charges. Be sure to check out these school supply deals for additional student savings.

This sale features nearly 50,000 titles to choose from, including kids’ classics and adult thrillers. The discount will be automatically reflected at checkout.

Home & Away Deals

Hoover Power Dash.

It’s not a rare sale on our budget carpet cleaner pick, so there’s no need to rush to add it to your cart. But if you’re already in the market, we think you’ll like this one for small stains (if you have a big old house that needs a deep clean, maybe go for something bigger) . It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, and the solution-dispensing trigger is right on the handle. There are also separate tanks for clean and dirty water which can be removed for rinsing. This price is matched at Amazon.

The larger Hoover SmartWash we love is also discounted by Target, though it’s cheaper at Amazon right now.

Although this particular model isn’t a pick in our guide, Adrienne So, WIRED’s associate editor, says it’s top of the line. It maps your home with sound waves, automatically lifts the mop when carpet is detected, and uses multi-directional brushes to better pick up debris. If you want it, it’s better to buy it on sale instead of shelling out nearly $700. You can also find it at this price on Amazon and Walmart.

There are a ton of clothes and shoes on sale. The selection includes options for men, women and children. It’s not just limited to shirts and pants either – you can get deals on shoes and swimwear too. Prices are listed on the product page.

KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus.

While it’s not hard to find deals on stand mixers during the shopping holidays, this model comes in some lovely, unique colors. KitchenAid mixers are popular for good reason. They are great for baking as well as for cooking in general. While this discount is good, if you’re determined to get the lowest possible price (maybe $200-$250), it’s best to wait until Black Friday to buy them.

Nothing screams “college” like one of these bad boys. These types of pillows are never really comfortable, but they’re handy for homework, bedtime reading, and movie night. This one has a plush cover for extra softness.

These types of clothing storage racks have become popular online over the past couple of years. They are perfect for small apartments or bedrooms, especially if you have limited storage space. This rack has shelves on the side for storing shoes or storage bins, a feature hard to find in other similarly priced versions. Consider the Gen-Z cool points as an added bonus.

Health & Beauty Deals

Theragun Elite

There are plenty of cheaper massage guns you can buy (and we like a lot of them), but the Pro is the best of the Theragun line. Theraguns (made by Therabody) are kind of like the Kleenex of the percussion device world. It’s the brand’s quietest device and comes with five attachment heads for tenderizing different muscles.

The Mini is also discounted by $160 ($40 off), if you really want a Theragun but want to spend as little as possible. However, there are better options than the Mini. The triangular designs of other Theraguns make them much more ergonomic. The Theragun Prime, which we didn’t test, costs $250 ($50 off).

We think most people would be fine with the Theragun Elite, including athletes, but this Pro is the beast of the line and puts out 60 pounds of force, while the Elite uses 40 pounds. It also has a rotating arm, so it’s even easier to get accessories in the right place. If you have the cash to spend, you’ll like it, but $500 is a high price on sale.

Theragun Wave Family

You can still take advantage of some of Therabody’s technologies without paying hundreds. This Wave Roller combines the traditional foam rolling with the vibrations of a massage. It’s not going to knot as effectively, but you can pair it with a cheaper massage gun if you need to.

Smart home deals

The Google Nest Audio delivers surprisingly high sound quality for a smart speaker. We like to connect two together for even better audio quality, and with this sale, that’s easy to justify. The Nest Mini Smart Speaker is also on sale for $30 ($20 off), so you can get something with a smaller profile, or just add to your Nest ecosystem.

A smart display is incredibly versatile, serving as a video player, a way to communicate with others, or a glorified digital frame if that’s your thing. The Nest Hub Max does all of these things very well, and while these are often on sale, we’d recommend only getting it when discounted. If video chatting isn’t your thing, the Nest Hub (2nd Gen) smart display is on sale for $55 ($45 off) – that’s $111 less than the Max for a smart display that’s always great!

Google Households looking to up their security game, look no further: the Nest Cam is your best bet. It works with Google Assistant, has 1080p with HDR and night vision, and it even has a good clear speaker and microphone. For a wired indoor option, the Nest Cam (indoor, wired) is $79 ($21 off).

With the scorching days of summer come dreary, sometimes debilitating temperatures. The Nest Thermostat can help keep your home cooler (while saving you a little money) by learning your preferred settings and adjusting them accordingly. Plus, with smart temperature settings, you’ll help save the planet little by little while reducing your energy consumption.

Nest Doorbell

Ding dong, the Nest (doorbell) is great! Not really. This would probably be our go-to video doorbell camera if it weren’t so expensive, so it’s a great opportunity to get something a little better for a lot less. This is the lowest price it has ever been, with a third less than usual.

Not all TVs are smart, but luckily they don’t have to wish for a brain like the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz. You can simply hook up a Chromecast with Google TV, and you’re done! You’ll have all the benefits of a smart TV (Youtube, Netflix and other apps) at your fingertips with the included remote.

Smartphone Deals

Google Pixel 6 Pro

Photography: Google

The Google Pixel 6 Pro earned a rare WIRED score of 9/10, which is pretty significant here. We absolutely loved the quality of the camera, with its Real Tone feature capturing different skin tones incredibly well. It also has a long-lasting battery, a smooth OLED display, and an incredibly fast refresh rate. If you don’t need all the features of the Pro, you can opt for the Google Pixel 6 (256GB) Android smartphone, which is on sale for $599 ($100 off).
