adidas MFX Reboot Low Ivy Earth GX1360 GX1359

Over the past 72 years, adidas has produced some of the most recognizable shoe designs of all time. And although it celebrates its heritage under the adidas Originals banner, the German sportswear institution has never shied away from experimenting with some of these beloved creations. Example: the adidas MFX Reboot Low.

At a glance, the low model looks like a plethora of suede and rubber proposals that came out in Herzogenaurach, Germany. A closer look (and product pages), however, reveals that the experimental offering delivers on the DNA of the adidas Campus, a classic shoe from the 1980s. Given the Asian market‘s obsession with the Is for the silhouette, it is not surprising that the MFX Reboot Low has already been launched in some countries in the Far East. In addition, the sneaker’s mismatched, layered and “unrefined” layout certainly appeals to the many avant-garde consumers who have celebrated the work of sacai, COMME des GARÇONS and Yohji Yamamoto. BOOST cushioning is not included in the dress shoe option, but an additional foam plate protrudes from the heel. Pull tabs on the tongue and a jagged outsole not only provide additional functionality, but also an eye-catching update to one of the most iconic sneaker models of all time.

Enjoy the official images of the first two colorways of the silhouette below and anticipate an release in the US soon.
