Lady Gaga offers fans the ultimate intimate experience of her new album.
The singer teamed up with premier shopping brand Westfield today for an exclusive event to launch her upcoming album with Tony Bennett, “Love For Sale.” Gaga performed a selection of classic songs as well as new duets ahead of the project’s October 1 release. For the one-of-a-kind, virtual and physical concert, the audience heard Lady Gaga perform both in the “Fan Zones” in person at 21 Westfield centers across Europe and the United States as well as online for a “Watch Together” fan function.
For the event, the “Telephone” artist debuted with a mix of glam looks. Before the show, her first look featured a black dress with a feathered neckline and ribbed appeal; the black design also included a cinched waistband and a floor sweeping hem.
Once she took the stage, Gaga switched to a showgirl-inspired dress with even more feathers throughout the nude design. The dress is actually designed by her sister Natali Germanotta and touches everything from sheer fabric to crystal embellishments and a high slit.
To raise the number even further, the singer slipped a metallic twist on classic pumps with a tan upper and pointed toe.
Lady Gaga’s second stage number was also created by her sister and offered another degree of drama in a black velvet moment. The off-the-shoulder silhouette also had touches of glamor with glittering details and a draped fit, all balanced with a cutout leg.
Holding her top hat firmly, Gaga completed her ensemble with black patent leather pumps courtesy of one of her flagship brands, Jimmy Choo.
It’s so important for me to be reunited with my fans after such a long time without being able to sing for them and I so appreciate that Westfield is supporting this experience brought by jazz music, ”Lady Gaga said in a press release. . “Jazz music is the greatest music that I believe exists in America and for all of us to experience it together and come together to watch it, sing it, listen to it, cheer it on… that’s all that I could hope for. I just want to express my deep gratitude to all the fans who were here.
Registration for exclusive access to the September 30 streaming performance is live today at Live.Westfield.com.
