Net-a-Porter launches resale service with Reflaunt

Yoox Net-a-porter is the latest retailer to join the resale game, in a partnership with resale technology provider Reflaunt.
Resale services will first be available to Net-a-porter customers in late October and expand to Mr Porter and The Outnet early next year.
Buyers will be able to sell pre-loved designer items across jewelry, ready-to-wear, bags and shoes categories with Reflaunt fueling the journey from start to finish and making sure it’s as transparent as possible.

The luxury retail group hopes to entice its customers to invest in luxury goods, by touting precisely where they can resell them at a later date.
Free customer home pickup, digital product authentications, price recommendations, and used product photography will all be part of the service.
Customers will be able to receive Net-a-porter credits or direct bank transfers once their products are sold.
When it comes to designer bags, one of the most popular categories in the resale industry, there will also be instant redemption options so that customers can receive credit immediately without having to wait for their item to clear. sells.
This decision is part of the distribution group’s 2030 sustainable development strategy, which aims to support the circular economy and extend the lifespan of luxury products.
After debuting on Net-a-Porter in the UK, the re-commerce experience will expand to the US, Germany and Hong Kong, as well as to the company’s other sites, Mr Porter and The Outnet.
