New Balance 990v2 made in USA M990TE2

Teddy Santis has unquestionably helped energize New Balance like no other collaborator before him. As creative director of the company’s Made In USA category, the Queens native has brought his stylish vision to models like the New Balance 990v2.

Previously featured in “Sea Salt,” the silhouette recently surfaced in an equally understated yet versatile “Black” ensemble. Similar to other accessible pairs from the New England institution, the upcoming sneaker’s dark outfit features high-quality suede and breathable, performance mesh. Aimé frontman Leon Dore keeps things simple, allowing the 24-year-old shoe design to steal the show with its original specs. Branding on the sock liner, however, gets an update to reflect Santis’ penchant for clean, minimal branding. Finally, the proven underfoot cushioning solution opts for an off-white look that flirts with the “vintage” aesthetic that has become synonymous with other ALD x NB collaborations.

Enjoy product photos of the pair ahead, while you wait to secure your pair via on Thursday, July 7, for $195 USD.
