PUMA and basketball star Breanna Stewart have announced the PUMA Stewie 1 Signature Shoe, the first new women’s basketball signature shoe in over a decade. The addition of Stewart’s signature shoe adds to a growing selection of products from PUMA Hoops, headlined by LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB 01. The Stewie 1 also leads the new PUMA Women’s Hoops category in 2021.
Revealed in a “Quiet Fire” colourway, this launch edition sees a neon yellow blend into a water ripple-inspired black molded heel, representing Breanna’s power lurking beneath her calm demeanor. Embedded at the bottom of the heel is a stitch mark, representing the Achilles surgeries Breanna had to endure before her epic comeback.
Stewart, who previously debuted the shoe in the WNBA All-Star Game, will lace up the shoes throughout the WNBA season.
A release date has yet to be revealed, but PUMA confirms a release this Fall 2022 season at PUMA and partner retailers.
