Ribbon cutting outfit for Bridgeport Running

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — A successful Monongalia County business has expanded into Harrison County.

Bridgeport Running held its ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location in Bridgeport on Friday morning. The specialty shoe store has been in business at the Seneca Center in Morgantown for 10 years; of course, this store is called Morgantown Running.

The new store has been open since December and is located at The Square in Bridgeport.

Owner Heather Cleary said her company offers more than just shoes and socks for the running community. “Not only serving runners, we help people who, as I said, have had plantar fasciitis or are seeing a podiatrist and refer them here to get the right shoes. So we know we have that knowledge. shoes so that people put on the right shoe, so that they no longer have these pains or injuries.

Bridgeport Running is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
